I've been looking everywhere for a 280x that comes bundled with Battlefield 4, are there any left?

Was reading this article: (a few weeks old I know)
http://www.kitguru.net/components/g...rclockers-offering-discount-bf4-edition-r290/

Which says the saphire 290 comes with BF4 but can't see that anywhere on the page? Not sure I would stretch to 320 anyway.

I might go with a 770 as most come with a few games at least, even if not BF4.

Can't beleive no 280x's I have seen come bundled with any games when the older cards have the never settle bundles.

Anyone point me in the direction to a card that comes with BF4? Or am I too late for that now?

About a week or two ago I think I saw more than half the 280X cards on OcUK advertised with BF4 coming free with them. I've only just noticed that none are included with BF4 now because of this thread

I think with this mining craze AMD don't need the promotion for them to fly off the shelves this Xmas :(

Just get the MSI R9 290. Here is a link http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-224-MS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752

It has 3 years warranty, includes battlefield, and lets you remove the stock cooler without loosing the warranty! What else could you want? :p
Btw BF4 is just the base game, it doesnt include the first expansion called china rising

As someone who owns a MSI R9 290 it does come with a sticker over the screws saying "Warranty Void If Removed". I asked OC in the support forums if it would be possible to remove the stock cooler (to watercool) and they said that if the sticker is removed the warranty would be void unless I had communications from MSI that my cards warranty wouldn't be invalid.

Got a reply from MSI today saying that the warranty would be honoured so long as damage wasn't done.

In short, ask MSI and get it in writing first before assuming.

Thanks but I was really hoping for a 280x but everyone showing me 290's which cost a lot more.

I guess you can't get them bundled with BF4 anymore. Nevermind

Are you saying everyone who wants to watercool needs a signed letter from MSI before taking off the cooler?

No. Msi lets you change the stock cooler. Now if you try and change it and you damage the card then you will lose the warranty. But if you fit a waterblock on it and then something goes wrong and by wrong i dont mean physically damaging the card your warranty will be valid.

this is what i got from MSI

rolleyes indeed.

You know that wasn't what he was saying. He asked OCUK if removing the 'Warranty Void if Removed' sticker was ok and they said no, so checking with MSI was a sensible thing to do.

Far too many people just say yes its ok when in fact it may not be, double checking is never a bad idea.
