Following my can't decide thread which turned into a bit of a mess tbh (and apologies for that but I didn't see it coming). I thought I would let you know that i have ordered the 360 (60gb), along with Kung Fu Panda, Lego Indiana Jones, Smackdown vs Raw, extra controller and a hdmi cable all for just £192!

Thanks to those who gave sensible suggestions, I did consider the advice that was given, particularly about the WII maybe being a better option. The decision was ultimately made due to the fact that my little fella let it known he has his heart set on the wrestling game.

Good choice.

You asked for advice for kids, and you bought a 15 game rated game for your 8 and 12 year old kids :)

Is that the wrestling one? Didn't even look tbh. Surprised as it is only wrestling. I hope none of you are social workers! I let them watch the wrestling on tv, surely the game can't be any more damaging?

Strange that you got him the 360 just for the WWE game as its also on the wii :D Oh well

Not a social worker, but the fact you didn't even check the rating before you bought it speaks volumes :)

Just mentioned it as you made a point in the other thread that the console was for young kids, no other reason.

Speaks volumes about what? Interested to know what assumptions you are making.

Btw, I said 'primarily' for the kids and with a wink on the end!

The only assumption I made (jokingly, I might add!!) is that you do not check ratings before you buy games!!

On a serious note WWE (imo) is at the more harmless end of the scale, in terms of mature/violent games.
