Have 2 X 480 in SLi with EK blocks & backplates in my system at the moment.

Also have a 590

Which to keep?

2 X 480 is less cores, more power hungry but if one dies, i can still game with the other.

590 = more cores, less power but means draining my entire system down to swap out.

what to do....

Have you not thought about selling them all? Then you could upgrade to 7970 CF / 670 SLI with little cost. (~£100?)

yep. Currently have a 990X and Rampage II Extreme all fully watercooled.Next time I drain down it'll probably be for a R4E and a 2011 chip so thinking of sticking with the 480's or the 590 for a few more months (Not exactly short of grunt with either to be honest and apart from the heat/ power difference and a few more cores on the 590, the 480 SLI set up is pretty much punch for punch the same performance as a GTX 590.

Flogging the lot still an option though

I would sell the GTX 590 if only to save your self the hassle of draining your rig.

I own a pair of GTX 590s and one of the things that annoys me about them is lack of ocing, at least with the GTX 480s on water you can oc them.

The other option is to sell the lot and buy a next gen card.
