Ok after having a dodgey monitor week had a 206bw which looked terrible then ordered a 2023bw instead, nice colours but the stand is doing my head in wabbles like jelly whenever I touch my desk.

Problem I have is do I go back to a 206 and how that the colours turn out the same as this or try something completely different. I was looking at a LG L226WTQ with apparently better viewing angles but heard that they have had problems with ghosting. Now I wouldn't call myself a hardcore gamer so would I really notice any problems/better angles or should I just settle for a 206bw?

Cheers

viewing angles are unlikely to be much different between the SM206BW and L226WTQ, since both models are TN Film based, and both therefore suffer from limited viewing angles, especially vertically. As far as ghosting on the L226WTQ, the panel is certainly fast enough to avoid most ghosting in the traditional sense of the word, and in terms of responsiveness is very similar to the SM206BW and the larger SM226BW (which you could maybe consider here too?) The L226WTQ has had some "overdrive ghosting" issues though, due to overshoot of the RTC impulse, causing some white halo-ing around moving objects.

not all of them, it's just something which can be an issue on some models using aggressive overdrive. eg Dell 2407WFP-HC classicly recently....
