I've just got myself a PS3 and am underwhelmed by the performance on my CRT in the lounge, as would be expected.

So, I have been looking at two options:

1. Buying a large LCD for the lounge. Current top candidate is the Toshiba 37x3030d. We don't have any HD channels though so I feel this might be a bit wasted at the moment for the occasional bit of PS3 gaming and the missus watching Eastenders. I can pick one of these puppies up for £650 .

2. Buy a small LCD/TV monitor for my home office and move the PS3 into there. I have to have the TV capability as it means when I move house I can use it as a bedroom TV or something along those lines. I have seen the ideal solution in an LG TV/LCD combo monitor, the M228WD, and its only £250. However, I think anything less than say 26" would be pretty poor for the PS3 gaming experience and I am then back up into £450 territory...so might as well splash out the extra 200 and go for the Tosh.

*sigh*

Any advice/ solutions to this problem?

Cheers guys. The pana does look tempting. I am leaning more towards getting a nice 24 inch monitor at the moment though as the cost is a lot less than a plasma and for the use it will get it seems more economical.
