Already have a Keyboard, Mouse and Mousepad although i currently only have Windows XP Home Edition 2002, so is Vista worth it ... and if so shall i get the 32bit version.

Just built new rig, running on vista 64. No problems at all. Runs all games, and apps that I have put on. Go for it!

It basically comes down to whether you want a prebuilt system with a warranty, or whether you want to save money and build it yourself.

I'd go for the latter myself.
