decisions you make in your day to day outings, how much do you think they effect how things turn out? this is what i'm getting at
on friday night, i got a lift to worcester with a friend (his old man drove us) we got dropped off at a petrol station just before the city and walked into the city from there. my friend asked which way we should walk , either up the high st or by the river/racecourse way (for those who know worcester) i saiid the high street, and that's the way we went
anyway, my point is, later on that night i met a cracking girl at the bottom of a club staircase and did think that had i gone the other route into the city, i might not have been at the bottom of said staircase at the time i happened to be

No one will ever know so why worry?

Unless of course the decision is to go one way or another and 5 minutes later a bomb goes off on the route you didn't pick.

A butterfly flaps its wings, you get laid.

yea the smallest decisions can change your life completely.

that is obvious, you can drop something and it can save your life or it could kill you.

you see, without getting all 'hippy' about the situation, i am a strong believer in this

Watch Sliding Doors and all will be revealed. the moral of the film is, no matter what happens in your life you'll never get away from Monty Python quotes.

Haha I thought like this with my accident, if I was 10 seconds slower the car would not have been there but if I was 20 seconds faster I would have seen the car and it would not have been a problem, but then you cant change anything so why think about it :p

This. You can never no what the outcome will be, if you'd have gone the other way and not met said girl you wouldn't even be thinking about if you could have made the wrong choice.

this is my point. think of all the ***** we could be missing out on by walking the wrong routes!

Maybe there is one specific route you can take through life that will have all the notes on the floor, hottest easiest girls along the way, and avoid all possibilities of accidents. Maybe walking down this street will find you love and lottery winnings. But tbh would you want everything to go right in life? Isnt it the problems and mistakes that mould us into proper people?

Life is all about fate, opportunity and taking chances.. Some we take, some we don't.

I walked a girl part of the way home from a nightclub once at 4am in the morning. She didn't want me to take her all the home (no pun intended). There were valid reason for this. We kissed said goodbye and that was that. I couldn't get her out of my mind so next day I drove nearby where i said good bye, I picked a random door and it was her house. She and i couldn't believe it. We've been together 18 years, married and have 3 kids.

Fate>opertunity>chance

Yep. Met the wife outside a nightclub after getting thrown out for being drunk. 20 years later, 13 married and 2 kids.
