I currently have a 640mb GTS, which is fine for me at the moment, but soon im going to be upgrading my monitor to a 1680x1050 20 or 22 inch. Where i think my GTS will start to struggle when maxing out games, even at 1680x1050.

I have 3 choices:

1: Buy a 8800GT - then buy monitor once i sell my old 640.

2: Buy a 8800GTS 512mb - then buy a monitor when i sell my old 640.

3: Buy the monitor, see how my 640mb is, then maybe wait for the 9 series cards?

Just wondering what other people would do? Would a new GT or GTS be a big improvement?

PS: i found a cheap new GTS 512mb, but its an inno3d reference card, what does this mean?

Thanks.

thanks for the replys so far.

I probably wont get much for my current 8800gts, since it was out of a prebuilt, its not boxed with anything and its an XFX :p
