Decoder or new soundcard?

I currently have (relevant components) in my bedroom;

• SB Audigy 4 Pro
• Sky HD + (Newer box)
• Gigaworks S750

It seems I cannot get the Audigy to accept a DD signal from the HD box, it just remains silent. To remedy this, I either want to

• Get a new soundcard
• Get a decoder (like the DDTS-100 but this is discontinued)

What to do? James Miller, any ideas?

Tempted by the X-Fi Elite Pro but it's 3 years old now? Are there any X-Fi 2s due soon?

I want a breakout box not one that goes into the case.

I tihnk you'd be better off with a decoder IMO.

What one? I want one which will play PC simulatenously (which is analogue) and optical, not one or the other as an input.

Fixed - no need to change anything, did not realise I needed to change the following (read on the internet just before I left thankfully):

Will wait until the next series of X-Fi for now
