decrepit PC change

Good evening,
I’m currently looking to update my rather decrepit PC; it’s had a few cheap upgrades thrown at it over the years but I’m struggling to play my current game of choice GTA5.
The current machine is using an AMD Phenom II x4 955/ AMD Radeon HD 6800 and 8 gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance ram.
Unfortunately I only have around a 650 budget, could anyone advise if it’s worth getting a new machine at this price, I’m not expecting the world but I would like to experience load times that don’t give me enough time to complete a Rubik cube every time I load a game.
If anyone could suggest a good prebuilt machine around this price or any advice I would be very grateful.

Can you list everything you have at the Moment.

Drives, case, PSU etc, everything.

Do you know how to build or upgrade parts?

So basically you need a CPU/Board and a GFX card upgrade.

Are you capable of doing that change? and reinstalling windows again as you will more than likely change to Intel+nvidia.

A bigger SSD would be nice too.

As you can see, you dont need much to bring you kicking and screaming into the modern world.
