Dedicated PhysX card

Hi all,

few months ago I changed out my SLi GTS 240's for my current GTX 590. I saw something on the web the other day about dedicating a completely different card to PhysX. So, I plugged one of my old GTS 240's in but cant check it yet, (cos watercooling reservoir broke while making it). Just wondering if, 1. will it work?, and 2. What sort of performance increase, if any, can I expect?. Im not holding out much, cos the GTS 240 is pretty bad.

yes it will

not much. the 590 is a very powerful card and the 240 may bottleneck it giving you a decrease in performance.

Try it and if it doesn't work out, just sell

Wait until then to test it.
IIRC, the 240 will be a bottleneck
