As above, have a spare GTX 460 to run with my 'on the way' Sapphire Tri-X 290 and was wondering if you can still do this?

Last time I did it was around 3 years with a 9800GT running a long side 5850 Crossfire.

Not really unless it's for pre-PhysX 3 titles using older Nvidia drivers.

PhysX 3 won't run gpu PhysX in hybrid mode, it defaults to cpu with no way to force it to the gpu, the link Dice posted above is the old PhysX patch, it finished in 2011.

Iv'e used hybrid PhysX on 5870/6950/7970, tried it again with the 290X with BAO but it's a no go now.:(

What was a simple one click batch file patch, has progressed into a merry go round of jumping through hoops resulting in a waste of effort.

Steer clear of PreHybrd, Hybridiz,Openiz and CUDAfix/CUDAfx64 etc, they mess up your games/OS.

If it's for older games, you might get the older ones to work using the hacks/drivers used at the time though(Dicehunters link).

I shall refrain from directing stick for disabling features intended/advertised for purpose.;):p:D

It's not worth doing anymore all it does is slow down performance of your AMD card and the hybrid physX only works on older drivers Nvidia blocked hybrid setups. Sell the Nvidia card and don't bother really all it does is spoil performance and causes more heat and power use.
