dedicated servers?

Hi wonder if anyone can help with this?

we have

ns3.domainname
and ns4.domainname registered to our windows 2003 servers dns

and also ns1.domainname and ns2.domainname on our linux servers dns

the sites on the windows are visble to the outside world no problem however the linux sites do not show to the outside world?

anyone have any ideas to why this happens, if i try and reach a site on the linux system it shows on the logs for the windows system?
