Hey guys, long story short I'm upgrading RAM.

I'm using a Gigabyte EP43-DS3L

The 2 I'm looking at is

and

If anyone has any experience with these please let me know what they are like, from what I can see my mobo should support them, Gigabyte don't like making things clear though.

Thanks

P.S I haven't looked at memory for a while but wow, sure has gotten expensive compared to a few months ago.

Horrible isn't it? I wanted an 8 gig build, but I'm going to start at 4 and see if I really, really need it :(

It's worth noticing the "this week only offer" on Corsair XMS2 that could save a few quid if money's tight: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-192-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=817 Not as good on the timings as the two you've chosen though, but I've never had an issue out of Corsair.

Of the two memory packs you listed, the Kingston seems to offer the tightest timings, if you don't mind pumping it all the way to 2.2V. If that sounds scary high, go with the OCZ at 2.1 :)
