Deep House?

Genres are so messed up nowadays, but I *think* I'm a fan of deep house (which sounds too cool for me).

What genre is the following music and could anyone recommend some artists that are similar but potentially not as faved by the radios?

I'm sure there's a mix of genres there but you get the gist!

The first 3 sound like generic euro dance music. The remix by Flume... Flume does chillstep / future garage (at least that's what I know him best for. I think that remix he's done is really weak though). The Chase & Status track is a breakbeat / uk hardcore track.

Which is what I thought until I saw an advert for a new Ministry of Sound Deep House album which basically had all these/similar tracks on.

Great tune but it's most definitely drum and bass. That's the thing about C&S, they do a lot of work across genres. Usually they do it pretty damn well too.

The term 'Deep house' has become overused and is now incorrectly used a lot of the time.

Stick em into a playlist on Spotify and start playlist radio and/or wait until they start to be used to populate the Discover feature - find it quite a useful way these days to find related artists and/or other tunes I might like. Some of the recent stuff by Andain is similiarish but might be a bit too trancey.

Can't go wrong with either Finnebassen, Oliver Schories or sets/tracks by Jeudi Records for some deep house

Yeah, for some reason commercial house has been dubbed deep house, and MOS has never been very good at genres.

This is deep house imo (albeit on the trancier end of the spectrum):

Chilled, somewhat hypnotic feel, and deep basslines (funny that).

Not really a fan of house but liking Harmonie (sounds amazing with decent speakers) and Got a gun.
