So, moved house at the weekend and unfortunately didn't sufficiently cover my screen up enough. Put a nice deep scratch into the screen :(

It's a £360 monitor so fixing it is ideal. I've tried a few fixes I read on the net to no avail.

Any suggestions or am I facked?

I don't know what you are expecting people to suggest really, a deep scratch is a deep scratch. No rubber or Vaseline or anything else is going to magic it away. :(

don't waste your time with lotions and potions, those so called scratch aways don't work and are a waste of money

either replace the plastic panel, sell it cheap and buy a replacement, or try house insurance

most insurances let you claim once a year without effects your ncbs

I doubt it's really worth paying £100 excess for tbh. I could sell it for say £200 and just buy a new one for £300ish. Or, is this an excuse to get a better one? ;)

I always did have my eye on the Rog Swift but it falls outside of my price range really.

Am gutted about this monitor, can't believe I wasn't more careful. I've been to about 15 LANs and never once put a mark on it :(

Just make sure you jizz on that spot next time you are surfing the poon and problem is hidden/solved. :D

Shoulda had it in the box it came in really... although hindsight is wonderful :p

Well that's the thing mate. I don't even notice it tbh when i'm on Dota. I only actually notice it when I look for it. I've decided to just put up with it :)

Lesson has been learnt :)

LOL...if you're anything like me, when you've just done a minor thing like that whether it be scratching a car, phone, laptop or whatever it looks HUGE at first but then shrinks with time to a point where I just don't notice it anymore.

Exactly mate. I can barely see it now tbh, only really shows up on white backgrounds.

I've had the screen a couple of years so not done too bad really with all the moving around I do! :P
