Forgot the name of the original RGB cooler for the 3700X, would I be able to use this still or best recommended to use something more aftermarket and more powerful for the upgrade?

Its in an NZXT mid tower case.

I'm using the prism on my 5800X and it does the job fine so I'd try it and see how you get on first before shelling out anymore cash on another cooler.

A stock cooler will do the job it's more about what you want from the cooler

If you want better temps, want to overclock or if you want a silent pc then you will have to upgrade it :D

Worth pointing out re the title just in case anyone was expecting differently - there is no default cooler for the 5800X… it doesn’t come with one.

If you are carrying over an old wraith it will probably be okay, but the 5800X is probably one of the hotter running SKUs so worth keeping an eye on temps and decide if you need to upgrade.
