I've got a 60gb ssd for the 7 OS and 2x1tb hdd in raid (1tb visible) via a startech card. I've done regedit changes for the program files (Inc x86) and it stills installs programs on the ssd rather than the hdd. I don't know if it's the raid card, a software issue or the motherboard which is about 4yrs old.
Either way I'm on the verge of throwing the ssd out the window and just sticking with the raid set up, which is also proving a pain to set up due to the driver when installing windows
