I have just switched to Mac and so far I am loving it but it takes a lot of getting used to!
I have got VLC player so I don't have to worry about codecs for videos, but how do I set it as the default player for videos? (.avi,.mkv...etc...). Also, is there any guide on how to optimize this for the best video quality.
Is there any way to have it setup so that when an external monitor is plugged in that it switches the monitor on the laptop off and uses the external monitor at its native resolution and when the monitor cable is removed, it reverts back?
When the laptop is plugged into the monitor I will also be using a desktop keyboard and mouse and what it to have different sensitivity settings (automatically changes when plugs in and reverts back when taken out) when using these. Is that possible?
Anyway to include a NAS in the spotlight search thingy?
