Default youtube recomended

So went on YouTube with the laptop on a new install of chrome (never really use laptop for youtube) so there's no internet history and I'm not logged in.


The default recommended videos all seems to be red/black pill, right-wing/anti feminist/Pro trump conspiracy and other similar videos.


I'm curious if anyone else is willing to log out clear history/use a new browser and see if you get the same.


It seems really weird these are the first videos a new user would see

Nope, I've not got a google account or whatever you need to log into YouTube and i all ways disable search/watch history. I get things like "Giant beetle sounds like a jack-hammer", "Explosion outside Kabul airport in Afghanistan - BBC News", and ""Sorry If I Crossed The Line There" | Jimmy Carr's Best Insults | 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown".

Probably some Chrome/Google/YouTube thing where it's picking up on your IP address or some other unique identifier and suggesting more of what you've already watched on another device.

Possibly, oh meant to put this in gd not sc BTW.

Good to know its just my laptop was a bit weird
