Hi,
I have a frustrating problem and stuck with how to resolve it.
I have a VIA sound chipset on my gigabyte 970 ud3p motherboard which used to work brilliantly however since upgrading to w10 it keeps defaulting to stereo from quadraphonic, the setting stays applied for 4 speakers but only the front 2 work
I've installed the latest drivers but the same issue occurs, it all works fine until reboot and then the rears stop working
Anyone have any ideas or do I need to invest in a new sound card? If so can anyone recommend decent but not hugely expensive card for gaming please
