Hi Ian

I'm looking at the Defcon1 mATX bundle @ 4.8Ghz

I once purchased an overclocked bundle from your main competitor a few years back and it turns out they had put every setting on default with a 1.5v vcore which was insanely high (and temps were hitting 93+)

Are the 8Pack overclocked bundles properly configured, as in every setting chosen individually? I want to make sure before spending £1000 you see, i don't want another ludicrously high vcore bundle. If it's individually configured by you, then of course, i'm happy to pay

thanks

The 4.8 OC bundles I am configuring myself 99% of the time. The rest of the time I am checking them.

No need to set every setting in the bios. But the essential ones and some less essential ofcourse.

Vcore is around 1.375v for 4.8 AVX stress test stable. Full load on dual AIO Asetek cooler not EK predator which I test with is around 75C, other stress tests its around 70C. Ofcourse the better your cooling the better the temps too. Game testing I tried previously and your talking less than 65c loaded.

Stability testing is AVX stress test, Intel XTU CPU test with Valley, Intel XTU Memory Test with Heaven and Real Bench. The last three max out all areas of the CPU including PCI EX lanes at the same time.

Thanks for the reply Ian

Definitely going to grab one from OCUK

Tempted to wait for the microATX Kaby Lake bundles though as i'm sure you will be offering much the same on them. Maybe grab a 1080Ti around the same time if its announced
