So has anyone else been keeping an eye on this MMo third person shooter ?

It's sort of like Rift and Borderlands baby with RPG elements and open world.

If you have a Trion account you might already have access to the alpha and beta (stress test is live 6pm today).
 
I have access to a beta weekend for this, it starts on Friday and ends on Sunday.

There is a NDA though so cannot say much.

Looking forward to it.
 
Remember hearing about this ages ago and was kind of put of by it's connection with the TV series, characters appearing from the show in game and you being able to change the tv show. Seems weird but has grown on me.

Globlal Agenda, Tabula Rasa...eugh, this is no different.
It's shallow, bland, everything we've seen before and brings absolutely nothing new to the table, that's all I want to say.

Might appeal to someone who's never played a game before, or an mmo before.
I mean everyone has to have their first and I'm suuuure they'll say this is the most amazing game ever, but for an aged gamer as myself it's, soul destroying trying to even continue.

As for a TV series, that's cool, it looks like a fun watch at least, as far as it changing by what happens in the game in the future, you can bet your butt that it's all planned out to happen a specific way regardless!
Can't see it lasting honestly, or having much take up, maybe initially through hype, after that... feed em to the dogs.

Not played Global Agenda for a long time so cant comment on that but yes its nothing special.

The Dynamic events were quite good. I was a little confused by the Shadow War events?

And does this game have PVP? Didn't see any pvp going on?

+ Dynamic Events to keep things shook up
+ Side-line TV series to watch as well
+ Sniper Rifles & Cloaking .. who doesnt like being a sneaky b?
+ Customisable Weapons

Looks like a lot of fun without all the seriousness of Planetside2. Took a look at the game videos and had a good look round the TV series website, and as a long time FPS and MMO player, this might just have the right mixture for me personally.
 
One could say the 'alpha' ;) apparently runs really well, presentation is good and it does seem to have more depth than it first seems. But, alas NDA restricts specific detail so if you can get in the beta I'd say try it.

It looks...ok.

Not very original and can't really tell from the video how fun it is to play...although it does look impressive.

Looks more like firefall than global agenda to me.
