As my desktop is on the blink, I've pulled my ancient laptop out of retirement, and plugged it into my Samsung SM-226BW.

The native resolution of the laptop is 1400x1050 (it's running a Geforce 2 Go). Anyone know how I can create a custom output output resolution of 1650 x 1050 for the Samsung? (I realise that the laptop can't display that resolution itself)

I read somewhere that Powerstrip has trouble if you define a resolution (i.e. 1650 x 1050) which is greater than the native reoslution of the laptop (i.e 1400 x 1050).

Is that true?
