Define XL for overclocked pc?

Can anyone tell me if a define xl can handle a overclocked rig with standard fans or will they have to be changed?

As far as I'm aware, the Fractal fans are more than adequate.

It's all down to personal preference imo in the way of looks/noise etc...

Depends on the chip partly.

Sandy it'll probably be fine with. It might not be so keen on an ivy overclock if they are going to run as hot as we think they might...

sorry i should have stated what i was going to put into it!

got a Q6600 at stock and looking to overclock and change the case from a antec 900 as well, its a bit boy racer ish...

Got an XL running a Q6600 at 3.2Ghz on a Xigmatek H1283 cooler. Added fans where possible (2 on the front behind the door, 1 in the drive bays) but kept the other as is and its idling around 40oC?

It will be fine but be aware that case is massive!

Thanks for the reply's guys, yeah i have read that the case is huge! temps shall be ok cos you got the room to cable management, if i feel temps are too high i can always change the fans and get a fan controller or something similar
