Not a question or a request for help. Just somehting that has made me giggle in the last few days...

Im looking at a few distros to use on a setup here, and Im going through them, but I fancy a complete change to something that I have not used much before.

Anyway, I have plonked BackTrack4 on.

The ONLY thing that I cannot get working with BackTrack?

NETWORKING!

Seriously. Given what BKTRK Specializes in, I cant stop giggling thinking about it.

Well networking is turned off by default for security purposes, you can use 'dhclient eth0' for example or via the menus.

Oh yes of course it is!
As soon as you said that, it clicked. I have not bothered trying that much, instead, I went over to Sabayon again... I seem to be at peace with that as it seems to be very stable on that setup.

The bigger irony is their servers / site were hacked around xmas time. Not very good at security are they.
