I use Diskeeper proffesional on Windows XP and have found it a great little program. But i have found of late that if one of my Hard drives are pretty full it will not defrag that drive properly. I seem to need 15% to 20% of the drive free. Which is ok i suppose as i can just backup the data on DVD.

Is this just a Diskeeper issue and if so are there any other progs out there which will defrag my drive even if its 90% full?

That leads on to my second question. Are there any better defrag progs out there and if so which ones would you recommend.

There isn't much choice for defragging tools. Disk Keeper and OO Defrag are the best mate. :) Try OO Defrag, I've been using it for awhile and I'm happy with it.

It's quite difficult to defrag full drives I'd think as the program has to move the data around the disk in order to tidy it. If the space is limited it can only do so much I think.
