Defragmenting a HDD. what software

Windows Defrag takes far too long. is there anyother programs out there will do the job faster and better?

I changed from Diskeeper to Perfectdisk - I think there is a Trial version.

Try de-fragging in safe mode ,it's a hell of a lot quicker .

That would be because your HD is not partitioned properly!!

De-fragging docs, mp3s, videos ..etc is pretty pointless and will help force your Hd to an early grave!!

i've tried both diskeeper 9 and perfectdisc and perfectdisc was the best. Always left the least amount of files fragged and had the better interface in my opinion. Havent tried diskeeper 10 though but im sticking to perfectdisk.
