DeFroST 4.3 battery issues

hi all

i recently rooted my desire using unrevoked, and used rom manager to update to DeFroST 4.3.

since then i seem to be getting fairly poor battery life compared to the standard 2.2+sense build i had before.

im not running any facebook/twitter etc widgets, and most of the syncing is turned off as i dont need it.

im using:

DeFroST 4.3
snowstorm
digital clock widget
handcent sms

my screen is set fairly dim, wi-fi off, gps off, bluetooth off, rotation off.

any ideas?

Same here, seems to drain fairly quickly got me. Even with removing excess widgets, wifi etc it's not great so I'm looking for a new ROM to try for now.
