Deino SMP problems

Last week my machine only managed to receive 1 unit to work on and over the weekend after 90 attempts it is still without a WU - I know there is a shortage of SMP2 units but how about the old Deino smp WUs?

have you tried it on mpich or with -advmethods as there seems to be plenty of A3 work here

Doesn't the Deino client only get a1/a2 cores which as far as i know are getting phased out if i remember rightly.

Looks like I will have to go A3 then - my work machine actually gets slightly less credit crunching A3 cores

What are you running, I'm sure a3s will produce better PPD on most half decent rigs over A2s.

Even my rig in sig will be producing 2.5k ppd on A3s, once I start getting bonuses that is.

Intel Core2Duo T7250 @ stock (2GHz)

will do about 1000 ppd on A3 and about 1250 on A1/A2 - its not a huge loss so I'm not too bothered

In a way it is a gain if, as you say, you aren't getting any A1/A2 WUs to do anyway!

Great after i said they are doing away with the a1's i bloody get one so slow and boring
