I have a wee problem when I first turn on my machine. I normally switch off at mains overnight.
Now when I turn it on in the morning and press the power button on my case nothing happen's. I opened up the side panel to check for the power led on the motherboard, and from my observations its taking around 30-40 seconds for the motherboard to light up.

I cannot start the machine until the motherboard is showing power led is showing. Now I used to be able to start my machine within seconds of turning on at the mains, now there is a good 30-40 second delay.

Any suggestions? I have no issues once machine is running. (Specs in sig)

Have you unplugged every USB device to see if this makes a difference?

I'd consider disconnecting physical drives as well one by one to find out what's causing the delay if indeed it is hardware related. I've had a SATA drive cause this before, frustratingly.

I tried disconnecting all usb devices this morning, same thing. In fact it seemed to take longer before the motherboard power led lit up. I also removed the kettle lead from the surge protector I have to rule that out. Made no difference.
Plugged it all back in as per normal and it took about 2 mins for the motherboard to show power?
So I'm thinking my Corsair AX750 psu is duff or could it be a motherboard issue?
