Delayed SMS issue. Anyone help?

Hi All,

Over the last few months I have noticed a problem with receiving SMS. I have a Nokia E66 on Vodafone. People complain that I have not replied to messages and I have never received them. Then if I turn my phone off and on again and they all seem to come through in a batch. Has anyone had this before?

I have spoken to my phone provider and they say they need to send the phone to Nokia to fix it? I just don’t get how a phone that works fine for 6 months can suddenly adopt a fault that does that. I have already had a replacement SIM.

Anyone have any ideas what might be going on??

I have had this before;

And having worked for a phone company this is abit of an enigma for them; the way to clear it is to going into Network settings and switch it to manual search, select another operator, this will eroor (of Course) then either select your network or switch it back onto automatic.

This will clear your fault;
