Does anyone know how to delete the SVI folder? Its not on my Windows drive, its on a separate drive left over from my previous Windows install. Under this current install System Restore isn't enabled on that drive, I've taken ownership, made sure both my account and system have full permission to access the folder but I *still* can delete it, help!

edit: Seems I dont have ownership/permissions on the files/folders in the SVI folder, and I can't take ownership either :(.

I had a similar problem a while back, Except it was also with program files and various other folders.

In the end, It was a long winded aproach but I had to partition the drive with only the folders that were undeletable, Format it and then repartition it so everything was together.

Was literally the only solution that worked in the few weeks I was trying.

This!^^^

I've managed to do it by deleting it from a Linux CD then fiddling with the permissions in Windows. Probably would have been simpler just to format the drive :p.
