680 pulls 50w and the 780 100w more than your current card.

Might be worth looking at full blocks. If you've seen 60c on your card chances are it will be higher with either the 680 or 780

Those extra 100w and 50w have got to go through the vrm. They dont magically appear at the gpu ;)

Alright I'll be nice haha. The vrms will get hotter with the added load mate.

You could probably get away with purchasing bigger heat sinks.

I'd defiantly be inclined to get full cover block myself.

I have a core only block (XSPC Rasa gpu) on my GTX 670 with Zalman ramsinks on the memory and the stock cooler on the vrm's. Never had a problem with it. The stock vrm cooler is a decent size though. If the card you get does'nt have a decent vrm cooler you can always make one out of a old heatsink. I have done this a few times in the past. Buy a cheap old cooler from Ebay for a couple of quid and just cut it up to the size you need. I have done this on a 5850, GTX480 and 6950 and it's the done the job perfectly.
