The warranty (3 year) is only for RROD. I think all other fixes cost £60-£70 pounds. What is making the noise? HDD? DVD? If it is just that game might be the disc?

I got my RROD'ed xbox fixed without having the pay and it was out of warrenty.

I didn't think 360 hits it's 3rd birthday yet (hence all 360's are still covered for RROD).

Besides his is not an RROD issue.

Sounds like the kind of thing that should affect other games as well. (If it is a hardware and not a software (COD4 disc) issue).

my cod4 started locking up, but my disk had been mangled. Just get ya disk cleaned and you should be fine
