I found out that the pushpins work fine, if you totaly ignore the way intel expects you to use them!
The suggestions is to push two pins in, then use a screwdriver to lock them in....

In fact, for me it works a lot better to lock the pins in before pushing them. I hear nice and satisfactory 'clicks' and the thing doesn't move anymore...
 
what is wrong with ppl on this forum?

I asked a simple question - I didnt ask if you thought push pins were good or not, why is everyman and his dog wanting to force his opinion on everyone else?

We're trying to give you good advice. You'll actually get better temperatures if you don't use the pushpin scheme. I made a custom bolt mount for my Scythe Infinity which used to have pushpins and I saw a nice drop in temperatures.
