Legally, your in the crap, as you can't move the licenses and as a system builder you really should make sure customers have a legal copy.

But....if you can unstick the COA from the machines and move them and reinstall the OS (which you can't get around unfortuently) then they'll be none the wiser.

Not that I condone that sort of behaviour though...

If they are identical PC's why not just move them around? Put the one with home premium where the main PC is going to go?

simple, if there identical apart from the hard drives just change the os hard drives in each pc

i don't think that'll work. and also its still breaking the license..

he needs to buy a home premium oem key then use that to upgrade or use the windows anytime upgrade..
