OK, CPU speed is BUS x MULTI, and RAM speed is BUS X DIVIDER.

If the CPU/8 divider is the highest you have, then that equates to divider of 15/8 on the FSB (220x 15/8 = 412Mhz), so get 533Mhz you are looking at a bus speed of 284Mhz.

284x12 = 3408Mhz
284x11 = 3124Mhz

And as for HTT
284x4= 1136 (possible)
284x3= 852 (more likely, if not a little low)

I'm a bit out of practice on clocking AMD systems, as i have had my E6400 for almost a year now (up from an Opty 146), but that should work. As for C&Q, i often leave speedstep on with my C2D and let it idle nice and cool.

I know form the Asus Crosshair you simply can type in a Memory speed and ignore the dividers/locks or leave it 1:1.

Also I ran the HT upto nearly 2000mhz, the Mobo is said to handle it no problems but about 1250mhz is a high safe limit.

I aint sure what Mobo you have.

i really cant remember if C'n'Q works with OCing, Speedstep does, but as i said its been a while with my and the AM64 setup..... And that was with XP anyway...... I did some googling though, and this might answer your question:

To enable AMD’s Cool’n’Quiet feature within Windows Vista:

“DOs:”

· C’n’Q must be “enabled” in the motherboard’s BIOS (Note that most BIOS settings disable it by default)

· The power management scheme/setting must be "balanced" or "power-saver" in the Vista OS control panel

· The motherboard’s BIOS must recognize the CPU that is installed (BIOS status screen will properly display CPU model number upon boot-up)

“DON’Ts:”

· Do NOT Select “Performance” as Vista’s power management scheme/setting as it will disable C’n’Q functionality

· Do NOT manually set the CPU frequency or multiplier in the BIOS. Doing so will lock the processor speed and disable C’n’Q functionality

· Having an old BIOS that does not properly recognize the CPU may disable C’n’Q functionality (ßflash your BIOS to latest version)

· There is NO need to install a separate AMD CPU driver… Vista has the AMD CPU driver built-in already!

You can make verify C’n’Q is working with a utility tool such as “CPU-Z” or one from AMD like the Clock or the Dashboard:

Looks like its a no-no, unless you know anyone who has got it working? Maybe there is a work-around, but i cant find one in my searches.
