I love my MX Revolution but I think the design is a love/hate thing really. Certainly fits your requirements, might be worth a look

My fist mouse was a MX510 (and I loved it). This mouse handles everything I throw at it, I can't imagine theres too much difference between a "gaming mouse" and something like this. Might have a higher DPI but thats about it
