DELETED_5350

imo wait it out, my bro just bought a system with less power than that! lol but seriously i would wait till the end of the year, if you want some speed formatt and watch it fly agian :D

It is your system so you would know if it is good enough for you better than me but I would have though it sufficient to play most games for the next few months at least at reasonable detail levels.

It would also depend on what your budget is as to what is worthwhile, if anything.

I've currently got:

Amd64+ 4000
2gb ocuk value ram
7800gtx
raptor

But I was thinking of getting a amd 64+ x2 4400
and possibly adding a second 7800gtx, think that would add a decent enough upgrade to the system for some upcoming games in the next 6months?

Get an X2 3800 as they overclock really well, unless you were planning on seriously OC'in your 4400 and a second 7800gtx is only really any good for benchies imo. sell your current 7800gtx and get a 7950 or something :)

Your 4000 will be better for gaming than the x2 4400 unless you get a game that uses both cores (pretty rare?).

You'd need the x2 4800 or above for that upgrade to make any sense from a gaming standpoint i believe.

I think your system is fine for gaming. I suppose you could upgrade your video card in a couples of months time if you needed it for the latest games but you'd probably be better off selling the card you have and buying another one. SLI doesn't really offer great value as an upgrade.
