Connect the Smoothwall box to a switch between it and the 2 PCs, and you can connect as many machines as you like.
 
I'm not sure how far you are with your smoothwall project but its worth taking a look at www.clarkconnect.com as well. Personally I think its much better than smoothwall.

At first it looks like you have to pay for it but you don't. Just download the personal edition.
