I have read on another forum where the 4 pin connector to the motherboard was not plugged it and when he plugged in into the motherboard it fixed the same problem you have with booting and no display on the monitor.
Found this to be the cure for no display when I missed out the 4 pin connector but I never had it auto start up.
Anyway have a look and please post if this is the cause of the problem.
