Depends how highly you rate security in my opinion.

If I ever set up a Forum again (and i'm sure I will), i'll be using vBulletin just like OcUK. It really is the best in my opinion and it worth the fee. I'd give it some consideration.

How is phpbb3 against the flood of spammers?

I recently shut down my phpbb2 forum because I could no longer be bothered to go on a mass acount deletion spree on a weekly basis.

I would use SMF but the themes are dire.
