I take it the 4800 x2 would be s939 with you having ddr1. The s939 versions are VERY expensive and not worth it at all. I Would just buy all new, something like an e2180 and p35 motherboard. If you really want an s393 dual core then make do with the 3800 x2 and overclock it
74gb raptor has had its day. Ive got one sat here unused if you want one really bad
but This 750gb 16mb Western Digital is so close you cant tell the difference in real terms. Plus its 10 x the size and silent ?
ill gladly take that for a boot time < 1 second slower.

Also. the 4gb Ram upgrade is going to be pretty pointless. Hardly anything can use 4gb at the minute. And i wouldnt be investing in the old AMD Tech either.
As above, start from scratch and get yourself a Wolfdate setup.
