Well if the title says V2 i would imagine it would be the latest version so the problems your talking about have probably been fixed....i however wouldnt know for definite so your probably best off ringing OCUK or contacting Roccat and see if they can give more info.

I just picked up the Roccat Valo (from a different retailer). I got the ROC-12-803 which I'm assuming is the latest version.
Unfortunatly the backlight capacitor whine is still there, although this can be stopped by turning the lighting down, not a problem for me as i dont need it lit. However £70 for the keyboard and it makes that sound :/ Also the Roccat software crashes everytime I try to use it. So i suppose all the problems still exist.
Strangely i still really like it.

I was curious about this too, I asked Roccat about their supposed V2 of Valo when I questioned them about some problems I had, and they said that there was no such revision. Can someone from OCuK confirm this?
My Roccat OSD driver seems to work fine though, so perhaps yours is an isolated incident. Although when I select CPU usage for my LCD it is stuck at 40%, which is apparently a problem a few people are having.
The only gripe I have with this board at the moment (and mine was one of the first) is of course the whine, but also the fact that it doesn't seem to load up properly until it gets to windows. For example, when stating up and you have to press 'Delete' or 'F1' or whatever to get into Bios, I cannot do this, so when I need to change settings or Overclock, I need to change keyboard. Does anyone else have this problem?

Also got a problem.
My firmware actually updated, but now after doing what they told me, my drivers/config app doesn’t wanna work and neither does the keyboard.
Uninstalled all the drivers for my kone and valo, restarted, ran through the registery and deleted any traces of it as well.
Restarted again and plug the keyboard in....still no luck. Windows doesn’t even pick it up? And alas, ROCCAT support is no help as they have not replied yet.
Any ideas?
