I think i have a really old dell one, which sounds really good when you click it, it probably is a mechanical one, im willing to sell it, i dont use it

Got an Logitech illuminated keyboard. Really like the feel, and the 'click'. And the illumination :) Hard to say if it's worth your money. It's like mice, you wont know until you try it. Personally, I don't like those old mechanical keyboards. The LIK is more like a laptop / apple keyboard. short key travel, mechanical keys, very slim. That's what I like.

I've had this Filco with cherry MX brown switches for about 2 month now and so far I like it far more than the logitech keyboard it replaced.

As oliver said it's probably best to try one if you can.

The lack of features was not an issue for me, nor the basic design and if you can get past those the typing experience is much nicer than that of a rubber dome board.

Whether or not a nicer typing experience and excellent build quality is worth £100+ to you is a different matter.

I'm glad I bought mine, but can't help thinking its not worth quite as much as I paid for it, however money permitting I'd only replace this with another mechanical keyboard.

Good choice getting the cherries browns. Much better for typing and gaming over the blacks used in the steelseries boards. What I like about browns is they are light and near linear when gaming but while typing you feel the subtle tactile bump.
