The times I've preformed Port forwarding on a Non-Cisco router. Uou forward to the destination IP, if that's you PC then thats where you forward to.

To make things a little easier, might be a good idea to reserve or statically assign your PC's IP address.

You can't port forward normal VPN connections, unless they are NAT-T tunneled (over UDP or TCP)

You'd have to forward a protocol from memory IPTables does this, i haven't seen anything else.

Alternatively, look for the VPN passthrough option.
