God of war trilogy (first 2 are PS2 HD remakes, the third is one of the most graphical games on the PS3)

Uncharted 2 - superb game with breathtaking graphics, kinda like a male version of tomb raider

Dantes inferno - similar to god of war but with a vastly harder learning curve

Killzone 2 and 3 - killzone 2 is dirt cheap due to the 3rd one coming out recently but both are superb games

Infamous is good fun, nice big open world to mess around in.
The ones James mentioned are all well worth a play too, and all can be had for good prices nowadays.

I'm in the same position, borrowed the god of war series + god of war 3 which were all awesome, look fantastic as well.

Infamous is good fun, a lot better then prototype imo

I have killzone 2 but I can't get into it for some reason

If you liked god of war you'll love xmen origins wolverine to be honest. Insanely good game which is underrated by quite a few reviewers. Dantes inferno is also worth checking out as its like god of war 3 but vastly harder on all difficulty levels from my experience.

If you struggle getting into killzone 2, try resistance 2 out instead as thats very cheap now and vastly better than the first one in my experience.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2 easily if that's the case. The 2nd game is great for the exclusive online Co-Op mission mode alone.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1+ 2,Killzone 2 + 3, Resistance 1 + 2, Mgs 4, Uncharted 1 +2, Haze (I liked it despite the crap reviews), Blacksite Area 51 (extremely underatted game with fantastic graphics) there are many more to chose from but off the top of my head those are the first that came to mind.

fifa for football
UFC for fighting (street fighter/tekken is boring after 10 mins, fight night is too boring)
COD for FPS

then for racing either

F1 or GT for realism
Burnout for arcade

imo theres no need for any other games as this fills all my needs.
