Well for vista/win7 don't you just delete the efi.cfg off the root directory and then that brings up all varients anyway?

I know this works on DVD/USB as I've done it?

The iODD 2501 Virtual CD Drive will do this. Essentially a USB hard drive enclosure that has some fancy electronics to allow ISOs stored on the drive to be presnted as virtual CD drives.

Havent actually seen one in the flesh but it sounds like a nice gadget.

Not as long as the version you install matches the key (a key from basic won't activate ultimate!)

Now there are the oem versions (dell/HP) but I'm not sure how you could do those.
