Blacklisting happens when a sufficient number* of an Email Service Provider's users report an email as spam/abuse, This reporting is normally done simply by clicking on the prominent 'report abuse' button/link that most of the big ESPs have available to their users.
In other words, it's very easy for someone to do - just as easy, if not easier, than merely deleting the mail or sending it to junk - so don't give them an incentive to do it.
* The exact number varies from ESP to ESP, but trust me: 1. it's universally very very low, and 2. It's an absolute pain to get de-blacklisted [and rightly so].
